Alternative meal replacements to stay fit and healthy

Alternative meal solutions to stay fit and in shape!
Keeping a balanced and healthy lifestyle can be tiresome for some people. Although, it just asks too much of your attention. But beware, by ignoring your health. You’ll be ignoring your body. That will take things to the dangerous side. To regulate your health, you must adapt alternative solutions. And replace those unhealthy meals with a healthier version. You can have meals which are loaded with nutrients. This can positively affect your body. Instead of building up cholesterol and unsaturated fat like most meals do. So read below for some awesome alternative meal solutions.

Using Bran products
Most of the people are a fan of white products. Whereas, they contain less nutrients. Less amount of fiber as well. Bran products like, brown rice and bread are an excellent choice. The presence of fiber in such products regulates bowel movements. Reduces the effects of cancer. Prevents sudden insulin spikes. This means, doesn’t get absorbed into your blood stream too early. Providing you energy till a longer period of time.

Cereals
If you are thinking, I am gonna talk about cornflakes. Then stop right there. Cereals contain high amount of sugar syrups. Providing you insulin spikes and later on, you feel empty. Ending up craving something more to bing.
The only way you can replace cereals by introducing Oats or Oatmeals. Add some milk and honey, maybe a spoon of peanut butter. Trust me, you will love it. Pre-make the oats and just add these condiments. Quickest breakfast ever. Or you can go for Oats Cheerios! I tried these and trust me they have 1g sugar per cup which is awesome. Stay away from those who have more sugar in them.

Oatmeal pancakes
Oats can be used as a beneficial alternative to flour. In the sense that it is high in fiber. Antioxidants and reduces constipation. If you want to remain fit for a longer period of time. Introduce oats in your diet.
Whereas, whenever you’re craving some pancakes. Grind some raw oats into powder. Add them instead of flour. Maybe a scoop or two of protein powder. And you will experience heaven in just 5 minutes. Consider sugar-free maple syrup as a condiment. But it is totally optional.

Honey
If we talk about honey. It is a very good alternative of table sugar. It has nutrients and minerals. Whereas, over all a better choice. If compared with table sugar.  I say, don’t use honey more than once a day. Because, it is still sweet and doesn’t matter it is a natural sugar. It will also work as regular sugar if taken 2 or 3 times a day. If you happen to have a sweet tooth. Introduce Stevia into your routine. An amazing natural sweetener. Which doesn’t spike any insulin. And research has proven that it is safe too.

Homemade shakes
Instead of having shakes from outside with blobs of ice cream. And what not added into it. Trust me, a single milk shake is estimated to have approximately 1000 or more Kcal. No lie. However, the good news is. You can make a tastier alternative at home. Just take fat free or low fat milk. Add bananas or strawberry into it. Protein powder is optional. And blend that bad boy up. 20 grams of protein instantly, baby. And It will also keep you full.

Baked potatoes instead of fried
We all crave for some fried potatoes from time to time. But it is the unhealthiest meal. As it leads to obesity and higher cholesterol level. Packed with fat. Although they are harmful to the health. As they contain Acrylamide which is a neurotic and carcinogenic agent.
However as a healthier alternative, you can make sweet potato fries. Chop these bad boys up. Sprinkle some olive oil on them. And shove them into the oven. Trust me, will taste way much better than fries.

Frozen banana’s

If you’re craving for ice cream then go for a healthier alternative.Whereas, peel some bananas. Add some protein powder and freeze them. After they’re completely frozen, and eat it up like an ice cream. It’s healthy, less fattening and more nourishing. So give it a try!

Dark chocolate
Due to its increased cocoa content. Less or no amount of dairy in the product. It is the best alternative to your regular chocolate. Which increases your sugar intake significantly. It is nutritious packed with antioxidants. Improves blood pressure and most of them all, satisfies your craving. Go for 80 percent or more cocoa content. I’d recommend sugar free but less than 5g of sugar per 100g of a bar is considered safe.

Oatmeal cookies

It is a very healthy alternative to the normal cookies. That you purchase from the market or from the bakery. Home baked oatmeal cookies have an advantage. You can add honey or Stevia instead of sugar. Whereas, the ones that are available in market are overflowing with sugar and trans fat. I hope you’re good in baking because this will need some of those skills to come in handy!
So guys, I hope this was helpful to make you understand on how you can make healthy meal choices instead of sticking to harmful products that do not provide any benefit to you at all! Take care of yourself because you’re the only one there is and it’s better to have a healthier version of yourself!
